MISSION OF KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA BALASORE
The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission, viz.,
1. To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education ;
2. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education;
3. To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc.
4. To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children.

As per the Admission Guidelines of KVS, HQ, New Delhi dated: 27.01.2017 there will be online submission of admission forms for the children of the Central Govt. Transferable & Non-transferable employees and Central Govt. undertaking w.e.f 08.02.2017 .
OFF-LINE ADMISSION, 2017-18

For the children under special provision there will be OFF-LINE submission of admission forms. Off-line forms are available in the Vidyalaya website. No forms will be distributed from the Vidyalaya. Parents have to submit off-line admission forms duly verified from the check list through registered post only. Submission of Admission Forms doesn’t confer admission. Wrong information improper submission of documents the school has alright to reject the forms showing sufficient reasons
